The Carter County Bank project began after freezing pipes caused significant interior damage, requiring a full renovation and on-site ITM relocation. The 3,500 sq. ft. renovation included a redesigned main lobby, updated teller stations, three private offices, a break room, and a reconfigured conference room. The new layout allows the bank to securely rent the conference room to outside guests while maintaining separation from daily banking operations.
Our team coordinated closely with mechanical, electrical, and structural engineers to support the interior modifications and the relocation of the ITM to the rear of the building. To address site drainage challenges, trench drains were incorporated to manage water runoff descending from the mountain behind the property.
For Carter County Bank, the interior aesthetic was a top priority for both ownership and its customers. The goal was to modernize the interior environment through introducing updated finishes, lighting, and spatial flow and remain respectful of the bank’s traditional exterior character.
A refreshed, welcoming space that feels contemporary yet cohesive with the building’s established architectural identity.
